With new releases from Frank Wiedemann, Recondite, Patrice Bäumel, Peter Pardeike, Permanent Vacation and Whities, March turned out to be a very exciting month to say the least. Here is our take on the top 10 releases in March.

1. Frank Wiedemann – Moorthon II (Original Mix) [Innervisions]

Âme‘s Frank Wiedemann, best known for his energetic live sets and quality productions, released his first solo EP “Moorthon”. The release features two peak-time essentials with amazing synth work underlined by perfectly flowing basslines, alongside an ambient edition.

2. Recondite – Warg (Original Mix) [Hotflush Records]

Recondite returns to the Hotflush imprint with two unique techno narratives forged in his trademark sound. The two highly anticipated tracks already could be admired in his live performances last year, but now the crowdpleasers are up for crabs on Scuba’s label Hotflush.

3. Patrice Bäumel – Surge (Original Mix) [Kompakt Records]

Former Trouw resident Patrice Bäumel returns to Kompakt’s Speicher series for the third time. Once again he showcases his extraordinary gift for making music with his tracks “Surge” and “Dum Dum”.

4. Red Axes – Sun My Sweet Sun (Original Mix) [Permanent Vacation]

Tel-Aviv-based producers duo Red Axes have an amazing 2015 behind them. With releases on Hivern Discs, Crosstown Rebels and Multi Culti they made huge leaps, putting themselves on the international map. One listen to their latest release on Permanent Vacation perfectly shows why.

5. Marvin & Guy ft. Sebastien Bouchet – Targa (Long Drive) [Correspondant]

We’re always happy to see new Marvin & Guy material. The duo make their return on Correspondant, with the release of their “Music For Race” EP. The EP features three originals, including this lovely collaboration with Sebastien Bouchet.

6. Avalon Emerson – 2000 Species Of Cacti (Original Mix) [Whities]

Avalon Emerson makes her debut on Whities music label in the form of a 3-track EP. Beautiful exhibition of what the Berlin-based producer is able to accomplish.

7. Lehar ft. Rush Midnight – Number One Hero (Peter Pardeike Remix) [2DIY4]

Connaisseur Recordings artists, Lehar and Peter Pardeike, meet each other on Diynamic Music’s sister label 2DIY4. The result is a more club-orientated track, which slowly builds to its full potential before unleashing its full power.

Catch Lehar and Peter Pardeike during the Connaisseur Recordings showcase at Radion Amsterdam, the 6th of May. Grab your tickets here.

8. David August – J.B.Y. (Original Mix) [Counter Records]

David August makes his debut on Counter Records (Ninja Tune) in style, with the release of his single J.B.Y. The delicate ambience of the track is underlined by a mesmerizing vocal part, which slowly builds to a subtle peak.

9. Pisetzky – Adria (Original Mix) [Just This]

Relatively new label Just This is back. After the first release on the imprint, run by Hunter/Game, back in 2015, the imprint released quality EP after quality EP. Pisetzky takes the spot for the 7th release of the label, with a 5-track EP including remixes by Distant Echoes and Inland.

10. Shit Robot – End Of The Trail (Roman Flügel Remix) [DFA (Cooperative)]

Last but definitely not least is Roman Flügel’s remix of “End Of The Trail”. He unleashes a mixture of groovy house percussions and intergalactic bleeps on Shit Robot’s original take.

Enjoy.
