Phantasm Records grows its footprint on international dance floors with a new EP from Amsterdam’s Pin Up Club. The EP sees the duo navigate trough their trademark trippy leftfield electronica and dark disco and EBM flavors on three original cuts and features remixes by Perel and Sinchi.

Phantasm Records has been quick to gather our attention. After the label’s iconic debut release by The Soviet Union earlier this year, the newly founded imprint shares their second outing coming by the hands of the Amsterdam-based Pin Up Club. Known for their work on labels like Bordello a Parigi, Nein and Relish, next to their DJ and live sets at Berlin’s Salon Zur Wilden Renate and Amsterdam’s DGTL, the duo delivers three trademark cuts of trippy leftfield electronica and dark disco and EBM flavors, next to two excellent remixes by Perel and Sinchi.

In their own words; “For this EP we chose to work with natural ambient sounds as a background for each track. So if you listen carefully you can hear dogs barking, crickets chirping and other ambient noises we’ve recorded ourselves on our travels.” Today we bring you the full scoop of “Cauldron” – a steady blossoming late night burner that effortlessly wins you over with cosmic keys, slithering hi hats embellished with masterful chords and synths.

Naoshima is scheduled for release June 1st. Grab your copy via Bandcamp and Bordello A Parigi.
