A fine-tuned fusion of old-school rave stylistics and ethereal house-ism, spiked with a solid dose of heavy hitting electro leanings. Melbourne-based producer Escape Artist debuts on Kalahari Oyster Cult with an excellent quartet of dance floor carbonizers.

With 2019 winding down to its natural conclusion, Escape Artist serves up the last outing of the year for Rey Colino‘s ever-expanding Kalahari Oyster Cult. The Aussie producer has been on somewhat of a tear with a string of EP outings for Salt Mines. Continuing to prioritize a versatile approach towards production and atmosphere over genre constraints, he displays another masterclass of lucid dance floor diversity over the course of this four-track package, including a remix by Flørist.

After recently gracing our mix series for the 28th installment, we welcome the Melburnian back in quick succession. Airing through our channels today, his Relief Mix of ‘Inner City Pressure’ concludes the 12″ in breezy fashion as emotive synth throbs and heady drum sequencing wrap around an off-centre blueprint.
