Davis casually strolls through a colorful oasis of 80’s synthwave aesthetics, spiralling marimbas and motor city melodies, as he debuts on Cin Cin for the label’s 12th release. A beautifully packaged split 12″ alongside Hivern Discs mainstay Pional.

Since launching in 2015, Fort Romeau and Ali Tillet‘s Cin Cin label has been steadily circulating a diverse palet of high quality material ranging from innovative house cuts and euphoric dance floor groovers, over to deep house tracks beaming with warmth and depth. Weaponed with their split EP format, the record label serves up its latest outing, featuring none other than Permanent Vacation and Hivern Discs mainstay Pional and the Brazilian ‘man on a mission’ Davis.

Taking care of the record’s B-side, Davis comes correct after a slew of releases on Live At Robert Johnson and Endless. Spiralling marimbas and 80’s synthwave aesthetics dominate our pick of the bunch “Clone Heart” as the TR-707 led rhythm packs a punch. On “Delusions”, Davis ramps up the energy levels for a frenetic Detroit inspired jam that leans heavily on jazz chops and motor city melodies. Guaranteed hands-in-the-air material across the board!

The Time Of The G’s / Clone Heart split EP is scheduled for release November 23rd. Grab your copy via Phonica, Juno and Beatport.
