Following onwards from their well received split “Romantico Disco” EP on Innervisions, which featured Stereocalypse and Musumeci, the Phunkadelica project returns with its first original material in 2019.

The Catanian Phunkadelica duo is back on Multinotes with their much anticipated “Phunkool” EP. The four track EP contains a sparkling, multi-flavoured injection of hyperbolic arpeggiators and cosmic grooves. Starting with the package’s title track, “Phunkool” is an euphoric piece of “disco balearic trance” for those who like to sweat on the dance floor, whilist A2, “Synthonia” strikes with a steady arpeggio and intriguing bassline.

The track we’re premiering here today, “Infetto”, is a mystical slo-mo throbber that descents into a darker sound aesthetic with hints of acid and percussion. The 12″ version also features the exclusive track “Settembre”.

Phunkool is scheduled for release June 17th. Grab your copy via Beatport.
