Man Power | LIQUID YOUTH

Fresh from a stellar new EP on Correspondant, Mexican-based producer Man Power dials up the the intensity on “Taken” with a combination of hard-hitting clap sequences, strongly resonating bassline and heavy kick drum as Eleonora debuts on Nothing Is Real.

Following a string of well-received EPs by Jay Shepheard and Modular Project, Nothing Is Real returns with the label debut by Eleonora. The Russian-Tartarian artist, now living in Berlin, combines her classical music education and jazz background into an exciting new electronic formula that eludes stereotyped categorizations. Classic piano passages and hard basses collide, where intriguing beats meet tender vocal sweeps. It’s melancholy, it’s tension, it’s strength, it’s fragility and soul.

On the remix front, Mexican-based producer Man Power, fresh from a stellar new EP on Correspondant, dials up the intensity on “Taken”, as hard-hitting clap sequences, strongly resonating bassline and heavy kick drum are introduced to Eleonora’s lush vocal and synth arrangements. Coming with a stamp of approval by the Innervisions crew, Adriatique and Nuno Dos Santos.

Taken is scheduled for release June 2nd. Grab your copy HERE.
